UnComfortable Truth is the work of Magister, the member of a sex offender's family in Florida. It has especially helpful information on Florida, but also articles of interest about national sex offender law issues.

- Canadians for a Just Society
Canada was previously thought to be a model for non-public registries of truly dangerous sex criminals, but the Conservative government now seems bent on copying the US. Canadians for a Just Society is a new website created by one angry Canadian, Steven Yoon. We applaud him and urge people to go to his site, read and sign his petition against recently proposed laws in Canada.

- American Civil Liberties Union
The American Civil Liberties Union has branches in every state. Some are very pro-sex offender rights, others are lukewarm, but they always have a good list of possible pro bono lawyers, and lawyers who specialize. There is a good text here also - What To Do If Arrested.
