Brian Rothery has one of the longest-running internationl websites dedicated to stemming the ¨sex panic¨. Located in Ireland, this was started in response to a Britain-wide hysteria. It now supports RSOL and other groups world-wide, and seeks a ¨day of reckoning¨ for politicians and media who stoke the sex panic.

Canada was previously thought to be a model for non-public registries of truly dangerous sex criminals, but the Conservative government now seems bent on copying the US. Canadians for a Just Society is a new website created by one angry Canadian, Steven Yoon. We applaud him and urge people to go to his site, read and sign his petition against recently proposed laws in Canada.

The American Civil Liberties Union has branches in every state. Some are very pro-sex offender rights, others are lukewarm, but they always have a good list of possible pro bono lawyers, and lawyers who specialize.
